Install log Yahoo messenger

Hello,
I've repeatedly tried uninstalling yahoo messenger but continually get 'unable to open install log' It's driving me nuts!
Can anyone help please?

Just tried installing the latest Yahoo then uninstalling the lot, it actually worked.
Hopefully I'm now free of Yahoo.
Anyone else stuck with Yahoo and you want to get rid of it this is the way to do it>
