Hi guys ... Iam building to me a new computer for gaming ...

And i dont have ulimited wallet thats way iam asking whitch processor have best / price performance ...

And which is best for gaming ...

Intel Core 2 Duo E7200, 2.53GHz, FSB1066, 3MB, 45nm

AMD ATHLON X2 6000 +

I will be using HD4850 graphic card and 2 gigs of DDr2 800 MHZ memory ..

if you plan on overclocking and will get a beefy cooler, go Intel, since you can usually get the 6600 to >3.2 GHz, and the dual cores to near 4 GHz. If you plan on not overclocking at all, ever, go with the AMD 6000+, since it is so cheap and stable. (Im running one.) Most people after me will probably tell you to go with Intel and OC it. And if you do OC them, the question then will be, do you want 4 cores or 2.

Procetualy how much better is 8400 ?

I would go with the Q6600 if you plan to overclock, most ppl will tell you to go with the E8400 since you are gaming.
