I have a Compaq Presario 4640. Basically it's old and fried. I want to rebuild it. I know the case is considered a mini tower. What size motherboard would I need to buy? I'm rebuilding it for fun.

hmm, yea considering how cheap PC part can be had for your much better getting a new case, if you want the saem size case coolermaster make a great uATX case.

the size MB your after (but dont reccommend) is micro ATX (uATX). from either gigabit or Asus ther both good although i prefer the former.

Yeah, that's another thing - if you absolutely have to get a micro ATX then your choices of motherboards are limited too. Think about getting a normal case like Antec 900 or RC-690, and then you won't have any of these problems to deal with.
