I have 2 X 1GB Crucial Ballistix Tracer modules (BL2KIT12864AL804) for my MSI K8N Neo4 board. I'd like to get another 2 X 1GB modules to go with these? Are there any deals on modules that will work well with what I already have?

The Crucial Ballistic you have listed is PC26400 and will not work in your MSI socket 939 MB.

You need PC3200 400 MHz. Dimms for your 939 board like these:

Thank you for the pointers. If I start from the other direction, what boards will work with the memory that I have?

I would suggest X48, X38, P45, P35 in that order. Those are the latest Intel chipsets which the PC26400 Crucial Ballistic you posted will work with. Of course those are Intel socket 775 MBs. The socket 939 MB you are referring to (your MSI K8N Neo 4) is a discontinued socket. Hard to find a 'new' socket 939 MB. And few 'new' socket 939 processors are available like the AMD 64 3800 939 I showed you. Of course if you purchase a socket 775 MB you will need a socket 775 CPU for it. Example Intel Q9450, E8600, Q6600...
