Allright ive set up/changed everything in side my comp before except the motherboard.

Im ordering a new Rampage Formula X48 and im a bit worried about setting up a motherboard for the first time.

Im just curious how easy is it to really screw up a motherboard ? This is the only thing im worried about setting up, so just curious is setting up a motherboard very difficult, and are there any basic things I can do to ensure that I wont permantly damage it ?

Little nervous about it so any help/advice would be immesnely appreciated

Its not difficult, just read the instructions in the manual. Make sure the motherboard when you screw it into the case that it has standoffs (should come with the case, or already screwed on the case)

And is it really worth it to invest into one of those static wrist guard thingys ?

I know some guides just said wear short cotton shirts and just remeber to ground youself.

+1 for roadrunner, always ground yourself by touching the metal surface or the metal part of the case to prevent static electricity destroying your mobo.
