So here's the deal...buddy asks me for help trying to fix his computer. Here's the build
Albatron Px848 Like Pro motherboard
Intel 1.7ghz Pentium 4 processor (i think)
512MB DDR2 533 RAM
Some geforce graphics card....
It was powering on but nothing would goto the monitor.
We ordered a new motherboard, and while installing it, I saw a hole on the processor, and I know a lot of intel chips have a vent, but this one doenst quite look like it was put there. Anway, the new motherboard uses onboard video so we dropped the graphics card. Nothing to the monitor, don't know if it goes to post or bios. I'm out of ideas...suggestions?
