Hi all,

I ran into some computer problems and have to do a complete system reinstall which is kind of ok since I've wanted to setup RAID but have needed an excuse.

I think I'm going to go with a RAID 0 setup since I want the performance increase and 2 drives are cheaper than 4 :ange:

I would like to get some input on choice of hard drives. I'm thinking of getting 2 of these:

heard good things about them and they fit my budget, but I'd like to see what more experienced users have to say before I purchase.

I will be be backing up my information regularily to 2 other hardrives so the raid 0 setup doesn't worry me.

I have used WD drives for over 14 years and have only had 1 fail on me while in service. I have a 1.2 Gig drive from like 1995 that still works if I tap it with a screwdriver at boot. Of course I don't use it anymore.
