Choosing the right driver version

Hello,
i am leslie, i have a win xp 32 bit, intel pentium 2 and a nvidia 8400gs. is there a display driver out there for the most stability and performance and dont ask me to download the newest drivers caused the new drivers caused even more problems and my old driver, even though my old drivers are stable but has VERY low frame rates for dota.

8400gs with 260.63 beta drivers. works on left 4 dead 2 for 7.5 hrs and yes, i did not overclock it. for maximum game play, it must be 260.63, find out about how good the display driver is at: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-260.63-beta-driver.html
