Wierd problem

My sons gaming PC has been acting wierd. Here is the basic system config:

Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L motherboard
Intel E6750
2gb ddr2 pc6400
asus geforce 8800gt
Windows XP sp3
No overclocking

Now it seems to be running fine, but it crashes with a blue screen every four or five hours. I ran memtest and it came out fine. Ran prime95 and it errors out on the first attempted test. I pulled one of the memory sticks and prime95 works just fine. Swapped the memory and prime95 works just fine. Put both sticks in and prime95 errors out on the first test. Any ideas what the problem might be? Oh and I put a new 650 PSU in to make sure its not a power problem.

sounds like one of the sticks of memory is bad

Bad RAM stick, or possibly RAM voltage needs to be bumped up by 0.1V to get a pair of sticks stable.
