Canon powershot SX 130

Hello,
From time to time my camera won't turn on and some times when it does it stops half way through the cycle. Opening and closing the battery compartment or a light jarring some times will get it going again and yes I have checked the battery's and even replaced them with out any success. I was wondering if anyone else has had experiences this same problem
