Has anyone had this problem before? More about : cmos battery dead system Mondoman August 13, 2008 7:22:13 PM Not sure how a CMOS battery "fell out", but if your system doesn't work after (a) installing a new battery and (b) clearing the CMOS, then perhaps your metal battery shorted something out after it came out of the holder.
