You guys tried the new driver yet? all i know is that i used to be above the "Common System" category on 3dmark06, now im a notch lower (i lost 600 3dmarks).
feel free to post your experiences with this new software as i wasnt able to do a lot of test, because im bored and trying to figure out what happened to the infinityward wiki and "youtubing" myself to death.
i was also unable to tell the difference running crysis after the new driver was installed. i was hoping they'd put the physx drivers in this release but they didnt
as far as i know, there is a component called Aegia Physx installed,.,, check ur add/remove programs for it..
My score increased to 12605 after the new drivers... An increase of +412 from my previous score..
My vid card is 8800gts 320MB..
Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 (OCed to 3Ghz), Asus P5KC, 4GB ram 5-5-5-12 DDR2-800, Seagate(500 + 750), Viewsonic VX22ggwm.
My c2q6600 (stock), 2GB, 8800GTS 320 (oc'd more than bfg's oc, can't remember what clocks) made just under 10k. Vista 32bit. Have yet to run it with 9800GTX and these drivers. Will do tonight and post results.\
edit, score with regular BFG 8800GTS 320 OC = 9707, OC'd a bit more it was 11200.
With 9800GTX stock I hit 11.7k.
177.16 = 11712 3DMarks
175.19 = 11737 3DMarks
177.39 = 11638 3DMarks

just installed the new drivers yesterday and the performance increase in bioshock was very nice =D
i ahve an 8600GT xxx. before the new drivers i could run the game with everything on maz with the res. at 1024by768 and average around 30-45fps but now with the new drivers i have the resolution at 1280by1024 and everything maxed and im gettin around 40-60fps...
but....
ever since these new drivers i have been getting alot of crashes in bioshock... thats the only rant i have against these drivers though really
