Hello everybody this is my first post =)

Recently i downloaded CPU-Z for fun to see what it could do. When i opened it up i found my core speed for my first processor to be 798.2 MHZ. I'm not sure why this score is so low for my CPU.

Specs:

laptop
AMD Turion 64 X 2 1.6Ghz
1024 mb DDR2 Ram
120 gb of Hard Drive space
Radeon 1100 XPress ( or so my sticker says )
Direct X 9.0c
Windows XP
Bios: Ver 1.00PARTTBL

It is more than likely this nifty little feature on AMD 64 chips called Cool'N'Quiet. It lowers the speed of the chip in order to have it run cooler and use less power.

And thats a laptop CPU and they always have it.

Do this. Open CPU-Z and then load a very CPU intensive program. Then watch CPU-Z and you should see your CPUs speed go up to its max.
