1-These are the parts I have, the motherboard I am not 100% certain on, as I think I can get a worse and therefore cheaper one which will still meet my needs:

■Gigabyte GA-EX38-DS4 X38 Sockel 775 (Specs: http://www.giga-byte.com/Products/Motherboard/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=2754)
1600/1333/1066/800 MHz FSB
Support for DDR2 1200/1066/800/667MHz, ECC, non ECC memory modules.

■Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16GHz (1333FSB)

■Corsair XMS2 Dominator Series DIMM Kit 4GB PC2-8500U CL5-5-5-15 (DDR2-1066) 2 x 2Gb sticks

■PNY GeForce 8800GT 512MB DDR3

2-Second question is, shouldn't the CPU and RAM speeds be the same or something? Or the Mobo and CPU speeds be the same? What is correct, and also, why?

Essentially the question for this post is what mobo should i get/what mobo FSB should I get which will work best with all my other components?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I read this post somewhere else on the Internet but it did not mention the mobo: "For Intel CPUs:

533MHz FSB = 133MHz
800MHz FSB = 200MHz
1066MHz FSB = 266MHz
1333MHz FSB = 333MHz

For RAM:

DDR266 = 133MHz
DDR333 = 166MHz
DDR400 = 200MHz
DDR2-533 = 266MHz
DDR2-667 = 333MHz
DDR2-800 = 400MHz

You should always strive for a 1:1 CPU:DRAM ratio. If you have an Intel 1066MHz FSB CPU, your RAM should run at 266MHz. So if you have DDR2-667 or DDR2-800, you should change the RAM settings in the BIOS to match the CPU freq of 266MHz."
