I reformatted my hardrive on my laptop after getting a virus. It is a 40gb and i set partition as 32gb Vol 1, 8gb for vol 2. When i reinstalled the recovery disk, it automaticaly installs on Vol 1 with windows only, no emachine files or drivers.

How can i get recovery disk to install in 2nd volume of hd with factory files and drivers?

What you can do is use GParted to repartition your drives, so you don't have to reformat then re-restore.

Normally a recovery partition allow you to reinstall both the OS and any included drivers and applications that were originally on the primary volume.
