ViewSonic VG181
ViewSonic VX800
Philips 180P2B

Any experience with these? Price range offered to me is more or less the same with a differences less than $100. THG writes that ViewSonic shows incorrect numbers in spec's - so that's not good. But how about this Philips?

By incorrect numbers, they mean they bs you about the contrast, etc because it doesn't seem to be the claimed value. What will you be using monitor for?

Mostly office work and some occasional movie watching or gaming for relaxation after intensive project :) But no need for any super high performance gaming.

We have available some other brands too - NEC, Hitachi, LG.

My initial choice was Samsung 181T, but they seem to have serious delivery problems in Europe and haven't been able to deliver for 8 weeks already!

The design is also important - thin bezel is what I like, although, ViewSonic looks ok too.

NEC 1920NX in that case is very nice, although a little pricey. It should suit ur pruposes well (my dad has 12 of em for his trading computer, and he's veyr happy w/ em).
