Re installing vista after dban

Hello,
I want to sell my dell xps so I used DBAN to wipe the hard drive (Windows Vista).
After DBAN completed I first booted my pc with the application disc for reinstalling media direct it says use this disc 1st before installing the O/S. I then booted from my O/S installation disc answerd the questions pressed next it seemd to be working but just does not seem to go all the way with 'completing installation' it does about 75% and thats it any ideas?

Test the drive with the manufacturer's diagnostic software for DOS. The links are here:

You'll need to create a CD from the ISO file, so use IMGBurn for that: http://www.filehippo.com/download_imgburn/

Now boot your Dell XPS from that CD and the testing software will open.
