i am getting this error message,

i have lenovo G450 lap top dual core 2gb ram 320gb hdd

this can be fixed by doing a REPAIR install of windows XP, NOT a new installation.
You will need the XP installation CD. This normally does not erase your personal files, but gets the system up and running again.
