Need to downclock dr2 6400 ?

i Have an E8400 C2D running at stock speeds with 4GB of memory DDR2 800mhz... to its main 400mhz (5:6)
So my question is simple:
Do i have to lower the ram frequency to 667 getting to 1:1 despite it isn't its speed??

Help me a bit here please. thnks.

Yes,in order to get 1:1 ratio u have to set the memory frequency to its lowest one.
