Now to reinstall files from a backup

Hello,
I've backed up everything I want onto an Ext HDD from my comp running Vista.
How do I reinstall them to another Comp running Win 7 ?

Hi. Just plug your external drive in and copy them to you hard drive. you cannot reinstall backed up programs, they have to be re installed from the original disks. you can only transfer files like music word docs pictures ect.
