I used clockgen to overclock my Dell when I have XP home.
I got from 3GHZ to 3.5GHZ with great ease.

Now I have Vista SP1 and clockgen doesn't work.

Are their any overclocking software programs to OC the CPU
that will work in Vista SP1??

Thanks
Tom

I already googled and looked for about an hour with no luck.
Plenty of hits but just because the keywords match in a post
doesn't mean there is an answer there. That is why I asked
here.

uhhhh, i know this is kind of far out but... BIOS update maybe? software OCing is just sooo unreliable and hard to find and i dont know where jsc is finding this stuff cause i googled it too.... there was easytune5? no clue what it is but its some auto clocking thing for intel procs. just skimmed it http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=10&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nvnews.net%2Fvbulletin%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D91672&ei=GNf7SZqRKpO6tgOa6KHXAQ&rct=j&q=intel+software+overclock&usg=AFQjCNEw1lwg4_xeeJEcsxpzhJyCZFKiaQ

AOD gives me even more voltage controls than my k9a2 bios does actually lol
