Cant view item in recycle bin - vista

Hello,
I want to delete items from the recycle bin but I want to be able to see what I am deleting. I have Vista.

You need to restore items to view them in vista.
in recycle bin>right click on the file>restore.

I have been able to view it in the past. I had my computer worked on and now I can not view them. Thx for the reply.

Double-click the Recycle Bin to Open its viewing Window or Right-click the Recycle Bin then select Open, select Properties to change certain Bin options.

I know how to open the recycle bin and I know how to restore items in the recycle bin. Before I had my computer worked on I could view the items in the recycle bin. I want to be able to do that again. If it was possible to do it before I should be able to do it again. Thanks for your reply.

Not sure if you fixed your problem but thought I'd add this solution for future reference.
What could be happening to your files in the Recycle Bin is that they are not actually going into the bin but being deleted permanently which the PC repair guy probably changed that option.

Right-Click the Recycle bin > Properties then uncheck the option to "Do not move files to the Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted"
