installed new video card having problems with colors

I installed a agp nvidia bfg 6800gt and i started my comp up and the colors where all messed up.

everything seems to work, but i have like a blue tint on the screen

any ideas need help please

Sounds like your VGA cable isn't plugged in completely. Either that or your video card is just bad. Make sure your VGA cable is securely connected and tha no pins are missing from your VGA cable. You could also try reseating your video card. If you are connected via DVI, then I have no clue other than your card is defective. See if the other port on your video cards works correctly too.
