Hey, I was wondering is my score decent for this setup?

Screenshot:

Specs:
Asus P5W-DH Deluxe Motherboard
Intel Core2Duo E6600 2.4GHz @ 3.0GHz
Zotac 9800GTX Amp! Edition
2x2GB OCZ Reaper Edition RAM

Another question, I'm running my rams at lower freq. to have a 1:1 ratio is that good or should I try another ratio? Also if I am running this on a PCI-Express not the PCI-Express 2.0 would there be a chance of better performance on a motherboard with 2.0?

dagger you beat me :( maybe I should overclock my card and processor some more :D, but 3.6GHz at 1.5v damn. I've got mine at 1.3v to 3.0GHz but I guess if I want to take it to 3.6GHz I probably have to also take it to 1.5v. Anyways, I was also wondering which no one has yet answered me is that is 1:1 ratio the best for Intel Core2Duo's, or someone else have gotten a better performance using a different ratio?

Well, I have it OC to 3.0GHz on stock cooler so I won't even think about going more than 3.0GHz on a stock cooler. Until I get a new cooler I will keep it at this, plus there is no point going past 3.0GHz for me right now as all my games run smooth and load up fast like hell :). The thing is that it's not necessary what you get on 3dmark06 determines your CPU's/GPUs performance, it could do a lot better in real games than its showing on 3dmark06, but I just wanted to test it out and see what result would I get.

Also I tired re-running the test with fan speed at 100 percent, the first test with the screenshot was fan speed at 70 percent. While using 100 percent fan speed I got a score of 12974, thats almost near to 13k which isn't bad in my opinion.

Yep, most games today, aside from a few, like Supreme Commander, are gpu limited. So ocing that cpu any more won't deliver a noticable difference. Besides, ocing any more on stock cooler is a bad idea. Feel free to oc the card though.

^ wrong lol .... my 3dmark score (not that it matters) jumped 4000 points after I overclocked... and I got a 30% boost in all of my games... that's really good in my opinion =D

4000 points for OC'ng a 8800GTS 640? wow!!

And how much FPS boost did u get ? are u sure u got 30% for only OC'ng a 8800GTS 640 ?
U went from 500/1200/800 to 650/1700/1900?

BTW,i am not very wrong :d because if u see the 8800ULTRA is simply a 8800GTX OC'd and the difference between these 2 isn't noticeable.

Well, right now my CPU and my GPU both giving me the performance that I need, so I don't think I really need to overclock it just yet. Although, my graphics card is already pre-overclocked from factory to 756/1150/1890 and at idle it sits around 46 degrees at 70 percent fan speed. If there will be a need for me to overclock just to squeeze the extra bit of performance out of it that will be before I start builting a new PC, but for now I get 100fps with the resolution I like to play with with everything high in all the games I play, so I don't see why I should be overclocking it right now. I mean seriously 100fps vs 200fps you won't see any different unless you're running 1600x1200 resolution with a monitor refresh rate at 200Hz.
