Alright, so I'm pretty much upgrading every aspect of my computer, other than the hard drive, and I was wondering if the parts I have chosen will work together. I've used newegg for each of the parts, so I'll just copy and paste the links to the parts here.

Motherboard - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813128333

Processor - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819103064

Graphics - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814134039

RAM - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820227139

and my old hard drive is a 250 GB, 7200 RPM, 16 Mb Cache DiamondMax 10.

Im also planning on using the on-board sound on the motherboard for sound.

Any tips, suggestions, and of course the answer to the original question would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Wow thats one heck of a budget build. Everything should work fine, but you want to get an AM2+ motherboard so you can tri/quad core later if you want.

yep i'd go for one of the am2+ motherboards. i would get one with the hybrid graphics tech, and then get a 3650 card and have extra boost in frame rates. that's of course instead of the 8600 that you chose, are you planning on gaming? hopefully not with these cards. if gaming then go for 3850 if you must buy now, or wait around a couple of weeks for 4850.

do you have a power supply? are you gonna get a new one?

also if you can spare a couple of bucks, you can get one of the 45watt processors, it's cooler and works just as good.
