So im running a amd 3500 64, 2 gigs ddr ram, 6800 gt, 535 watt power supply. im going to have to buy new Mother board since its a 939 chip so here is what im thinking of doing

Motherboard-ASUS P5N-D LGA 775
ram-G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 X2
video card-EVGA 512-P3-N801-AR GeForce 8800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16
processor-Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz

Im reusing rest of my compenents from my computer. also my power supply if i can. Its a enermax 535 watt. Any sugguestions would be cool or if this looks like a good build. Im also running windows xp atm (planning switch later on when i get a little extra cash)

mm the quad core will last longer and is only a few dollers more and will last a lot longer. and if i read your post right your getting 4gbs of ram? cause if your running 32bit os its kinda not needed.

Build is fine. Get 4-4-4-12 RAM. G.Skill is a good kit, the one I use.
However, don't buy 4x 1GB.. get 2x 2GB (one kit).

I would invest in a Corsair 550VX or PSU. One of the best out there and will last you a few builds. Higher quality then the enermax too.

Get a GA-P35-DS3L and a Q6600. +1 on PSU.
