Hi, i have a AMD X2 7750 BE and an Asus M3a78-CM motherboard paired with OCZ fatal1ty 1066Mhz ram.

what i did before to over clock my system was just running hte ram at 533Mhz timings at 6 - 5- 5- 15 and upping the CPU multiplier to 16.

i have now decreased the CPU to 13.5 and upped the FSB to 237 with the memory running at 400mhz speed but with the over clocked memory it did get up to 474Mhz.. at timings of 5 - 5 -5 -15.

I found hte CPU to be stable at a maximum of 3200MHz speed so I'm fine with that i guess. but i want to know which scenario yields better performance? because i used everest to test the Cache and Memory benchmark and the second scenario gave out much better numbers. about 1000 higher in write etc. Im running in Unganged memory.

thanks for the info. sorry if i am a bit confusing

depends what you do...for almost everything you are better off with higher cpu clock. there are a few situations where higher memory bandwidth, write, read etc...are more beneficial...but if you game/surf web/ etc...go with the higher cpu.

hm well i foudn that 3.2 was the max that i could get with this cpu and its at 3.2 already just with a lower multiplier and higher fsb.. so i guess ill just keep this
