Strange desktop problem

Hello,
I have a strange problem with my desktop, last night my cat slept on my laptop and I don't know how but she made my desktop smaller. In the right side of the screen there is only a black part and I can't stretch the desktop. Can you plz halp me? How can I restore this?

Sounds like you need to auto align the monitor. Look for some buttons on the monitor. A couple will adjust color settings, but one should auto adjust the screen.
