hey guys how high do the ram voltages go on the P5Q PRO? the ram i have needs 2.2V will that mobo go that high?

My friend has the P5Q Deluxe, and DDR2 1200 2.2v ram and he couldn't get any OC stable until he brought the ram speed down and the ram voltage nothing over 2.

I dont think the DDR2 P5Qs like higher then 2.0 ram. If it aint on the QVL thats probably why.

Now with the lower speed and voltage he is stable @ 4.5 on water. Before it wasn't stable on anything but 3.0.

Hmmm. I have a P5Q pro, running 8gb DDR2 800 @ 4-4-4-12 2.1V. You shouldn't have issues.

Ya my friends Ram is OCZ, maybe it depends on make model of the ram. Who knows. All you can do is try.
