difference in performance between 1.8v and 2.1 v

hi...I have a evga 650i ultra mobo and a OCZ platinum revision 2 ddr2 800..My pc automatically boot on 400mhz and 1.8v.. I read some reviews that this ocz memory likes to run 2.1..i really don't tweak the bios cause i'm afraid something wrong may happen..so i wanna know if there is a performance difference when i switched the voltage to 2.1v from 1.8v?thanks!

There will be no performance difference unless perhaps the RAM is on the edge of stability, but you'd probably get reboots and BSODs instead. The only thing more voltage does is increase stability at a given frequency (oh, and heat).
