Hello. I've had this MSI TV@nywhere Plus analog card for about two years now. I have no qualms about it, except that to the far left of the image the brightness enters a ladder-like varying effect (i.e. it darkens the farther you go to the left). I suspect this is an issue of either the chipset connectors or the bundled cable (which is cheap and not gold-plated). I use a gold-plated s-video connector for input, so I'm ruling that out. Can I go into a Radioshack and ask for a better TV tuner cable?

I think it's standard for analog TV tuners that offer s-video and composite? Kindly help! Does it have a technical name?
