Hi iv read the forum on OCing and everything else people have posted me and linked me to on OCing Yet i still am unsuccessfull. The closnt i have had my computer being OC'd was when i used the tool called A.I. Suit v 1.03.29 i used this tool to change the frequency to 334 giving each core a frequency of 3GHz each. But this was not stable as when i tried to runa game a blue screen appeared saing hardware malfunction n shut down my computer.

I really need someone who i can talk to via ventrilo or teamspeak or who i can even ring to help me solve this problem. I will be very greatfull if someone can help me. My PC;s spec is shown below.

couple of things. 1 what is your RAM rated @ 800,1066 etc and 2 you're better overclocking in the bios instead of using a software overclock for your processor
you'll need to adjust the voltage a bit. for most people who have Q6600 the voltage is anywhere from 1.29 -1.35 also make sure the speed step is turned off and manually adjust your RAM timings most people who have this CPU manually adjust to get the best out of it. look around on forums and here on Tom's
I got mine up to 3.6Ghz but usually run it at 3.4
