Want to recover hard disk....

hi every1....

my hard disk is WDC ROM MODEL SABRE... its not working now but its detecting in BIOS... when i connect this hard disk with some other hard disk, then it shows new disk found..., disk drive etc... but it dosen't show on my computer...wat shall i do?i have important datas in it... pls help me to recover those datas frm that hard disk...

First check Disk managment in the control panel and tell us what it shows there.

The OP's drive has a "firmware" problem. In any case the date of the post was 10-01-2009.
