Win xp no icons

Hello,
I got the "ntldr missing" message. I tried to import the i386\ntldr file from the Winxp pro disk. Now I'm in XP but safe mode only. Normal mode has no icons. Where are all my apps and files? How do I fix this ???

In regular startup can you see your desktop Background but nothing else? Have you scanned for Malware while in Safemode? If your resident shield scanner doesn't work in safemode try Superantispyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. This scenario can be caused by an infection and can be related to a malicious service running. Reply back with scan results.
