im not sure what mobo to get for my build ... i have eveything else picked out cept the mobo........my build is on a budget and so far ive picked out this stuff

hd 4850

e8400

4 gig G.skillz

500 gb seagate 7200.11

antec case antec 500 watt psu

now as for the mobo i just want the best bang for buck..stability..speed etc..... any suggestions? so far ive got these choices

asus P5Q PRO or just the P5Q... no diff really ..seeing i wount be useing Xfire

Gigabyte EP45-DS3L

any better choices out there>? also is there a huge diff between ddr2 800 and ddr2 1066???

ASUS and Gigabyte both make quality Mb's.
I think any of the choices you listed would work fine for you.
If you need to shave some cash, get the Gigabyte Mb.
If you are planing on overclocking, the ASUS Mb's look to have better voltage regulation and may overclock further.

No, there is little to no difference between CL4 DDR2 800 and CL5 DDR2 1066.
They both access stored data at the same speed.
Save some $$ and get This set or a pair of These sets.
