Which is the best card for running Age of Conan, which would run it on maximum settings?

8800 GTX = 764 Ram
8800 GT = 1024 Ram
9800 GTX = 512 Ram

I'll have AA on and a high resolution.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Thanks all :)

You don't put their see their RAM as the only factor when you see a Graphics card, there are a lot of things to see when you compare, the best way is to read the reviews.
The best here is the 9800GTX, but I would recommend you a 4850, it performs slightly better than the 9800GTX at cheaper price that is.

Hadn't really given ATI any serious thought to be honest. Been a bit blinkered with nVidia.

All I want to be certain of, is running Age of Conan on max settings

4850 by several miles

better yet splurge and get a 4870, the new hot thing which apparently is also very very cheap

You need a lot of graphics hardware to run age of conan at max settings

4870 will maybe get you 1600*1200 and mostly max, but doubtful

Age of Conan is a very graphically intense game, the only single video card i've heard that runs it perfectly is a gtx280, and thats a 600$ video card.

You might be able to run it maxed out on 2 ati HD4850s for 400$ or 2 9800 GTX for 400$ but even that might be cutting it close~

1. ATI sucks as always.
2. Nvidia rocks as always.

Why do we see extreme nVidia newbie fanboys like everyday single day after the release of the 4800s?
