Hi. I am new to OC'ing and wanted to ask if you think it's a good idea to find a cheap computer to experiment on for OC'ing the CPU, GPU, and RAM? Ideally I would find a used one that would enable me to learn how to OC before I experiment on my system.

I'd probably get a barebone and add a few things.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Thank you!

If you have the money and the desire you could, but if you really read the stickies/guides and take small controlled steps the chances that you will damage your system by overclocking are very small.
