Upon completion of my new build that uses an intel ssd I attempted to install windows 7 onto it but it failed the install and since then my computer hasn't read the ssd properly. I'm not quite sure where to start to figure this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"failed the install" that's not detailed enough. Please explain exactly what has gone wrong.

Does Windows detect the driver properly during installation? Were you able to create partitions? How far did the installer went? Any error messages?

It detected it at first, the drive wouldn't format and on the install it didn't get past the first step of the installation process

Solved, simplest solution was it : / bad connection on power or sata connector lol.
