Can I use an ISO file without having a CD. Can I mount it to a virtual drive? I am currently out of CD's

I don't know for sure, but I think I remember once mounting an iso to a virtual drive, but i can't remember how it was done. Sorry to not be a help. But I do think it is possible.

I think I used something like a virtual cd/dvd program. I think there are some free ones out there. Just google virtual dvd and you should find some. I don't remember what we used, but it might have been magicISO.

Yes you can, download Alcohol 120%, or daemon tools. This software create a virtual CD/DVD, after this, you could open the software and find the .ISO that you want open. Or just double-click in the file and open with the program that you download.

magic ISO is the easiest in my opnion

I use daemon tools lite.
you can find it at their website
http://www.disc-tools.com/download/daemon
or
http://download.cnet.com/Daemon-To [...] 78842.html
and it is really easy to use. just right click on the icon in task bar and click mount image and then choose the ISO you want to be "inserted" into your virtual drive.
