I don't know for sure, but I think I remember once mounting an iso to a virtual drive, but i can't remember how it was done. Sorry to not be a help. But I do think it is possible.
I think I used something like a virtual cd/dvd program. I think there are some free ones out there. Just google virtual dvd and you should find some. I don't remember what we used, but it might have been magicISO.
Yes you can, download Alcohol 120%, or daemon tools. This software create a virtual CD/DVD, after this, you could open the software and find the .ISO that you want open. Or just double-click in the file and open with the program that you download.
