I just purchased a Galaxy 2518UAS hard drive enclosure. I wanted to get my files from the hard drive on my damage laptop. The laptop I have is an HP pavilion tx1499us tablet pc. When I go to plug in the hard drive into the enclosure, it looks like it should fit, but there are two black plastic pins blocking the way so the plugs will not go together. Why is this? Do I not have a compatible product? What would work?

I can't find the homepage for your product.
From experience I can say you can move the hard drive connection left and right on the enclosure by unscrewing a screw.
Not sure if this solves your problem.
