Free software for updating drivers

Hello, i wonder if anyone can indicate me a free software for installing drivers automatically, since i am having some trouble running xp on my computer, and tried downloading lots of drivers without sucess.

You should visit the support/download site for your motherboard (manufactuer and specific model). There, you can get the chipset drivers, and the LAN, VGA, and audio (if on-board).

Be very wary of the many websites offering free driver updates.

If you have a separate video card, take the side panel off and find the make and model of that, and visit the manufacturer's website for those drivers.
