Right now i am two storys above my router on wireless. I'm sick of my crappy wireless connection, is it possible to install an ethernet link in the wall (kind of like phone the phoneline ports in your wall) or something?

If not any other suggestions?

It is not plausible for me drill holes in my floor and its not plausible for me to run cable through my walls either. Also i can not move the router. Can you have two routers maybe?

You could use 2 powerline adapters.

Can you go into a little more detail? Thank you!

edit: i looked into this further VERY cool. It uses your electrical wiring as a wired connection. Ordering from Tigerdirect in a few days after i investigate wifi solutions (very new to networking)

How hard / expensive do you guys think it would be to route ethernet cable two storys up in my house? The only real solution i can think of is routing it through the vent as there are certain parts of the house (stairwell for example) that it would be impossible to hide unsightly cords.

radio - go for the powerline solution, i have a pair of belkin 85mbps myself and they are so easy to use its fantastic!

The thing im worried about is the fact there is NO surge protection.

I hate to tell you but "surge protection" is way overated. The power strips with "surge protection" don't do jack. I wouldn't worry about it.

haha alright. Well thanks i cant believe i've never heard of this. Anyways looking into routing some ethernet cable but if that looks to be too hard im going to order a pair of these. Thanks a ton grumpy!

@montyuk thats pretty funny, i didn't realize surge protectors where so useless. Guess it only protects against small power flux's
