Which cpu better, e7200 OR PHENOM X3 8450

In Multi-tasking Situation, Like Run 3 Super-pi or Open Hundreds Of Webpages, Both Are Max Oc at default VoltageWhich One Can Do Better?

.... I don't understand why you would need 3 super pi and/or hundreds of web pages...

anyway the e7200 should be better.... it will have a higher OC although the phenom has more cores

Super-pi tends to run better on Intel processors, though Phenoms tend to play better with multi tasking to that extreme extent. Why do you need all that? I say get the E7200, because triple core Phenoms tend to suck real bad....

^But the E7200 will OC better at stock voltage!!!!!

Meh I think he is asking a stupid question. Unless he is trying to look at every pRon site at once I have never seen anyone with "hundreds" of web pages open at once. And to tell the truth that will be up to how much memory you have a each page will increase the needed amount.

when you see some favour link on the website, to prvent missing them, I always open all in background. Sometimes it will freezee a few seconds on e6600 platform, I don't know which cpu can handle this better? In oc, which can perform well in this situation?

More RAM, a 64-bit OS and better disk I/O might help that ...

SuperPie? Is that like all your favorite pie flavors in one giant pie?
Oh, you are talking about the SuperPi counting to 1M thing. Who needs to run 3 of them? Are you in some sort of SuperPi race or something?

I like my SuperPie idea better, anyway.

Wow. But what wisecracker said. A lot of internet performance is dependant on the HDD because it caches everything to disk. Your best bet is to get a RAID 0 or a Raptor. That will help browser performance along with more RAM.

We can use superprime also :D

It's hard to find a software test in multi-tasking, I prefer open 3 test program same time for testing the multi task performance, but most of them cant.

Superpi looks can run 3 same time. Well, we still can open 3 threding in cinbench to test.

I thinks what is the best is to test the performance on opening the webpage is test the javascript interpreted performance, most of the famouse website cantains lots of javascript cost lots of resource. But there is no such a specify test software.

SuperPi is not a good test for multitasking.

Do a web search for mutitasking benchmarks. You should be able to find all the info you need.

Why would anyone need to open 100s of websites, anyway? Hell, I have 9 at most.

How about we use ramdisk to build a ram drive set tempornary files to the ramdrive?

^Why would you test a dual core vs a tri core with 3 things at once? And a program that can do more than two threads should do better on a tri. And now you are talking about a RAMdisk which would depend on memory access speed which Phenom is better at (Thanks IMC).

As I said before it seems like a flame bait thread as all of those questions you ask should run better on a Phenom tri core. Of coures the E7200 will more than likely OC better but still. Asking questions like this are just weird.
