Quick question regarding AMD Overdrive 3.0, a Gigabyte GA-MA790GP-UD4H motherboard and an AMD 2.6GHz QuadCore 9950 CPU (HD995ZXAGHBOX).
The motherboard is supposed to be (and, I am sure, certainly is) based on the 790GX chipset. However, in Overdrive -> System Information -> Diagram -> click the Northbridge Chipset icon (the one in the center), the chipset is reported as "AMD 780G Chipset". Also, Overdrive -> Status Monitor -> GPU Status is blank, as though Overdrive doesn't see the onboard graphics.
Has anyone else seen this anomaly?
