I'm building an HTPC using the Thermaltake Bach HTPC case. According to their website, the maximum height I can use for a CPU cooler is 100mm. Does anyone out there have an idea on which the best one might be?

Thanks,
Dan

I personally wouldn't know; you can filter through NewEgg.com and see the customer reviews for yourself:

Please don't double-post next time.

Take a look at Frostytech's Top 5 Low Profile Hs List.
It should get you pointed in the correct direction.

I suggest you consider the Scythe Shuriken. It's 65mm tall, quiet, and cools well according to reviews.

Sorry dpayment, I thought you meant CASE coolers, not CPU coolers.

rwpritchett has a good suggestion. Any updates?

Depending what chip you're getting I'd at least try out the stock cooling. I was very impressed with the one that came with my 4450e Athlon, it isn't audible over the rest of the components and since its a htpc, heat is not an issue.
