Looks great. I have the G31M-S2L and I love it. You really could not have made better choices on the other components.

Make sure to get G. Skill or A-Data for good quality, budget DDR2.

Unfortunately, my sound has stopped working...

Maybe a driver reinstall will fix it.

crucial is only 25 for 2 gb kit. thats after rebate.

You might want to stop for a second and take a look at an AMD build with the 780G. It basically has a low end AMD video card for the onboard, and does a MUCH better job with games/hi def playback then the onboard intel "extreme" chips.

For example, here is an ECS 780G for $67 counting shipping.

Add to that a 4800+ for $60, and you've actually cut the cost a bit more.

If you compare the 4800+, you should find that it out performs the 2180 (it can even keep up with the 6300 on some tasks) so you've actually not only saved some money, but upped the performance at the same time. The rest of the things will of course carry over. Something to thing about.
