My battery on the motherboard is playing up the time and date is always wrong, Is the batterys all the same in computers.

The battery has probably expired so fit a new one. It's called a CMOS battery and is the same battery model on most computers. Remove it and take it to a shop which sells coin-type batteries so you get the right one.
