Does your graphics card use an AGP socket or a PCIex16 socket ? Can you tell us what your power supply is ? If you're not sure what graphic card socket you use can you tell us what system and/or what motherboard it has ?

Add a little bucks for the best graphic card considering ur budget:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814127333

If u want cheaper, take this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] %2b9600gso

Those are the best graphic card for ur budget. Also u can take 8800gt but when u assume not to much about graphic those two are the choice. Good luck!

It might be an agp socket judging you bought it 2 years ago.
