Will this heatsink fit on my motherboard?

Hey,

I'm a first time builder. I'm getting the EVGA 123-YW-E175-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 750i FTW SLI ATX Intel Motherboard (name copied from New Egg if it's long), and I'm thinking of getting the XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler for my heatsink. The only thing is reviews say that that heatsink is big, and to make sure it'll fit on your motherboard without getting in the way of anything else. Well, I don't have the motherboard, and even if I did I'm not sure I would know if the size of the fan would be a problem without having them both in front of me.

Can anyone tell me if these two will fit together?

Please and thank you.

Pros: This mobo has everything a gamer that likes to overclock wants. Great BIOS and easy OC options. Was easiest OC I've ever did, basically does it for you. It looks cool, it runs cool, it's just a cool mobo all around.

This user purchased this item from Newegg 6/5/2008 1:34:03 PM High Quality Gamer for a Low Price

Pros: Most important pro is that this motherboard has 2 full 16x PCI express slots. Nice layout with no issues installing 4 gigs of ram with a large 8800 gts 512 mb video card. $190.00 is an awesome price for this quality board with a lifetime warranty. I fully recommend this board. The stability of this board has been flawless as well and though I haven't experimented yet, this board is supposed to be very OC'able.

Cons: The first board I recieved was defective. The status check codes located on the HEX display at the bottom of the motherboard read out FF constantly and the system would not POST. I immediately RMA'ed and recieved a new board which worked flawlessly. So if you get the same issue, just RMA.

Other Thoughts: This board is a great buy for the performance and quality. Get them ASAP because EVGA is already sold out!
