I have been reading the posts here for a while trying to decide what to get for my own build.  I am really on the fence about the mobo.  I have an ASUS now and have had some trouble with it and am a little gun shy of buying another.  (Its an old one, though so I might just be too paranoid)

I was all set to go with Gigabyte until I read about their latency problem.  I still see folks here heartily recommending the Gigabyte P35 family of mobos.  Is the latency thing not a big problem? Did they resolve it and I missed it?  Or did it only affect people using DDR3 or something?

Just wondered what folks here thought about that reported problem.

Thanks

There has been issues with using other that DDR800 ram with the GA-P35-DS3L boards.

The default Memory voltage is 1.8v.  If your ram isnt 1.8v you have to adjust the voltage in BIOS . That is not a problem.

The P45 Gigabyte boards will be out soon, if not somewhere already.
I am anxious to see how they perform.

What board are you looking at?
